Another Offtake for the Tui Field

6/3/2018

With some calm weather to accompany it, we've completed another offtake from the Tui Oil Field this week. This time we lifted over 388,000 bbls of Tui Crude. Thank you again to those involved in making this another smooth offtake with no incidents.
We look forward to further successes with this asset.

Proposed Drilling in Tui Field

6/3/2018

Tamarind is intending to commence a drilling project in the Tui Oil Field in early 2019. It will involve drilling 2 to 4 sidetrack wells from the existing wells. We are currently developing an Impact Assessment for the drilling project and intend to lodge an application for marine consent to the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) in early March 2018. The consent application will be fully notified, and a full copy of the application will be available from the EPA website and from this website. We will post updates on the project when they are available.

Our Commitment to HSE

5/3/2018

Ultimately, Tamarind strives to prevent any accidents, and keep everyone and the environment safe. Tamarind has several Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) tools to help protect people and the environment – and one of them is our HSE Policy. The HSE Policy is the fundamental HSE document that confirms our commitment to our HSE Culture. It outlines the HSE expectations and actions as the foundation to continuously improve.

Our HSE philosophy is that while we are undertaking our activities, they should cause no harm. Alongside that, we believe all accidents are preventable, no task is so important that the risk of injury to people is justified and that we will protect and minimize the impact of our activities so that the environment will suffer no long-term effects.

Our Policy highlights our ‘Stop-Work’ commitment from all levels of management, in which a worker is required to stop any activity if they feel it compromises their personal safety, the safety of others or the protection of the environment. We firmly believe in our HSE Policy and we ensure that our workers have the resources needed to carry out their tasks safely.
